We intend to comply fully with our responsibilities under GDPR legislation so have outlined the basis of our GDPR policy.

WHAT
We will only collect data that is relevant and needed. This will include – name, business address, telephone number(s), email address, network and regulatory information. This information will be kept up to date. Data will be processed either with your explicit consent, to fulfil the contract of a mortgage application, or in line with our legitimate interests for specific business purposes.
WHO
We will only be contacting mortgage professionals who are acting in the course of their business, and will only contact them on their business numbers or email, in business hours.

We will not “cold call”, we will not “cross sell” and we will not sell or pass your details to third parties unless essential for this application.

The information will be made available only to Crystal employees who need this information.
WHERE
Your data will only be held by us, or passed to lenders, your network or for legal/regulatory reasons. It will be stored on our systems which are encrypted, with all data held solely and securely in the UK.
WHEN
We will hold your contact details for as long as there is a business need.

We will only contact you during business hours (0845-1800 Monday to Friday).
WHY
We are holding your personal details for contact and identifier purposes. We will only contact you for business purposes which we believe are beneficial to both parties.

If you want us to delete any of your records, we will do, however we will have to retain limited data in order to comply with our regulatory responsibilities.
